Egg with Spicy Gravy Recipe
Egg Mashala Curry/ Egg with Spicy Gravy
Ingredients: Egg 6, Onion 1 medium size chopped , Garlic 8 cloves, Ginger 1 inch chopped, Cashew nuts 8, Curd 4 tbs, Termaric powder 1tsp, Red Chilli powder 1tbs, Green Chilli 6, Corriender and Cumin powder 1tsp each, Black pepper powder ½ tap, 2 Green cardamom, 3 cloves bud, 2 inch cinnamon stick, oil 3 tbs, salt to taste
Process: boil eggs to hard, remove the skin and keep aside. Take a pan and add one tbs oil, heat until smoke release, add chopped onion, 2 green chili, chopped ginger and garlic to oil, fry these in medium flame until onion get golden colour. Turn off flame, cool it and put in a mixi and make a fine paste.
Take curd in a mixi add cashew nut and make fine paste.
Now cut the eggs lenght to length in two halts.
Add 1 oil to the same pan, heat to release smoke, bring flame to low. Now carefully fry the both sides of egg halfs for 10 second. And keep the fried egg halfs in a serving bowl, the yolk side at upper facing.
Take 1 tbs oil to the same pan, heat the oil and then add Green cardamom, cloves and broken cinnamon stick, fry them for few seconds then add onion garlic ginger paste to this, stir this and cook for sometime, add little water if spices stick at base, now add Termaric powder, Red chili powder, Cumin Corriender powder, Black pepper powder to this, stir them well until oil separetes. Once oil separates add curd cashew paste to this, stir this and cook for another 5 min in medium to high flame, add salt to taste ( approx 1tsp), now add 200 ml (1 Cup) boiling water to this and cook until it becomes a thick gravy. Turn off flake, transfer hot gravy to serving bowl and cover the eggs with spiced gravy. Cover it and leave it undisturbed for 10 mins that all spiced mixed gravy can enter in eggs.
Your Spicy Gravy Eggs is ready, enjoy this with Paratha, Roti, Nan or with any rice preparation.
